O Produtor, tasting note published in March 20th 2021

Earthy, subtly woody nose, reminiscent of smoked meat, with light floral notes and light, vibrant red fruits. Subtle black cherry and red fruit flavors with savory mineral and graphite notes. Fine, well-integrated and delicate tannic structure.

Framingham

Framingham Pinot Noir leans towards a more “feminine” style, exhibiting grace and charm with strongly varietal flavors and good structure to add interest.

winemaking
The fruit comes from four locations in the Wairau Valley, with a mixture of clones represented. Each plot was harvested by hand and vinified separately; the number of whole bunches included and the turning time varied between plots. In total, the wine has around 10% whole bunch, an average of 20 days of skin aging and was aged in French oak barrels for 10 months, of which around 20% was new. Bottling without fining or filtration.
