A red wine with an intense color and fruity aromas, featuring notes of plum, raisins, and ripe fruit. It starts off smooth, fresh, and with balanced acidity, finishing velvety on the palate with soft yet intense and persistent tannins.

A project developed by the fifth generation of Ervideira, expressing their identity through the creation of these wines.

Designation: Regional.

Harvest: Mechanical and nocturnal.

Vinification: Aragonez and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were selected. The Aragonez undergoes alcoholic fermentation in vinimatics (stainless steel rotary tanks), while the Cabernet Sauvignon ferments in mechanical foot-treading lagares.

Winemaking Team: Nelson Rolo, Duarte Leal da Costa, and Bernardo Leal da Costa.

Ervideira

The estates of Monte da Ribeira and Herdadinha both belong to the Leal da Costa family, direct descendants of the Count of Ervideira, a successful farmer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. With 160 hectares divided between two estates, one in Vidigueira (110 ha) and the other in Reguengos de Monsaraz (50 ha), Ervideira´s company is run by Maria Isabel Leal da Costa, the family’s matriarch, together with the support of her six children, including Duarte Leal da Costa, the executive director. Nelson Rolo is the head winemaker.
