Revista de Vinhos, tasting note published in May 23rd 2023
Elegance already appears on the nose, with good fresh fruit, a backdrop of cedar, notes of white pepper, and a slight floral component. On the palate, the tannins are fine, there is volume, depth, and breadth, firm acidity supporting the ensemble, and a finish with fruit and lingering persistence in the mouth.
Soil Type: Limestone with marble surface. Winemaking: The two grape varieties together ferment for four days in marble mills with footsteps. Transfer to stainless steel vat where alcoholic fermentation ends. This is followed by 12 days of post fermentative maceration. Aging: 18 months in French oak half barrels.
