Encosta do Sobral
The Syrah and Touriga Franca grapes were crushed in the lagars at Encosta do Sobral, with the press wine blended with the free-run wine and immediately transferred to new 300-liter French oak barrels, where they aged on the lees of malolactic fermentation for 25 months. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional wines were macerated through daily délestages and remained on the skins for 21 days before pressing. They aged for 18 months in 225-liter barrels of French and American oak.
