Average temperatures were higher than historical averages, with small heat spikes in June (101°F) and July (103°F). No heat spikes were recorded in August or September.

The character of a wine is defined by the grapes at harvest. With our extensive vineyard efforts, once we have the grapes in hand, our winemaking practice is minimalist:
Thorough selection of the clusters by hand.
Optical sorting of the berries.
Gentle pumping-over – delicately extracts aromas, colour, tannin, and reveals the personality of each blend.
Manual stacking from barrel to barrel every three months, using the skiff.
