João Guedes, tasting note published in May 24th 2020
Wine is clean and bright with a ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, red fruits, and some spices. In the mouth, we find mature and intense fruit and a very light body. As a perfect match, I recommend barbecues.
The best grapes were selected from the slopes of Douro. After extended cold maceration during 24 hours, the fermentation occurred in small stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness at 25ºC during 8 days. The wine was oaked for 8 months in French Oak Barrels.
