Carmine color, bright and transparent. Intense perfume reminiscent of red fruits, particularly cherry and strawberry. On the palate, it shows volume and balanced acidity. Another captivating and fragrant Curral Teles Alpha.

Curral Teles

Curral Teles is the place where our winery is located. These wines essentially focus on the human influence on wine. From the choice of grape varieties, planting methods, vinification, aging, etc. These are wines produced in small quantities that reflect the experiments conducted in the winery and are not produced every year. They are classified with letters from the Greek alphabet in honor of the experiments carried out in Greek academies.

DOC Douro. Location: Douro Superior. This wine comes from the 2020 and 2021 harvests.

Vinification: Winemaking method used by the Romans and Cistercian monks – Whole red grapes foot-trodden for 3 hours in a calcatórium. They are then pressed in a vertical press, and the must ferments and ages for 8 months in a cement vat.
