Visual aspect presents a bright clarity with a cherry red color of very open intensity and a medium persistence tear.
The aroma is of mild intensity, characterized by spices and dried fig. It is noteworthy the effect that the French oak barrel confers, with notes of caramel, smoke, and coffee.
In taste, the absence of sweetness is noted, with balanced refreshing acidity, sufficient alcohol content, light-bodied with present and dry tannins. The mouth aroma is of fine quality, as for the nose, adding notes of black chocolate. Persistence is of medium intensity and pleasant quality, with correct balance.

Crono Lisboa

The Crono Tinta Amarela 2021 red wine is a limited edition of 500 bottles of minimal intervention and superior quality wine. With an honest, elegant, and balanced profile, it is a wine with vegan certification and carbon-neutral, with 100% compensation for CO2 emissions.

Viticulture: The vineyards are located in Alenquer, on a gentle slope, idyllic for wine production, between the Montejunto mountain range and the banks of the Tejo river, in clay-limestone soils. The natural shape of the landscape protects the vineyards from humid and cold Atlantic winds, maintaining a temperate climate and allowing for slow and balanced grape ripening, enabling the production of fresh, elegant wines with maritime influence.

The Crono Tinta Amarela 2021 red wine results from excellent and sustainable viticulture, with a simple principle of respecting the terroir and the particularity of the year.

Vinification: Handpicked, only the best bunches were selected. In the winery, the destemmed and not crushed grapes are directed to a vat, where they undergo carbonic maceration. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine results from the tear and manual press where it aged in a 500-liter barrel, French oak, with medium-high toast, second use, for a period of 9 months where it underwent malolactic fermentation. Bottled in July 2022.

The Crono Tinta Amarela 2021 red wine is an excellent companion to drink alone or accompanied, in a relaxed moment and harmonizes beautifully with a cheese and charcuterie board, salads, fish dishes, pasta, white meats, and grilled dishes.

A family project created by two cousins ​​passionate about wine, João Correia Lino and Manuel Ribas Fernandes, who share the idea of ​​creating a sustainable structure combining wines of superior quality with support for environmental and social projects. Wines from limited productions and low intervention that allow the purity of the grape varieties to be appreciated.

We are a carbon-neutral project, offsetting all our carbon emissions and those of our partners. A project to be recognized for the good wine produced, but mainly for the good it practices.

Currently, we are focused on producing wines with limited editions and two different concepts: CRONO (single varietal wines) and EON (blend wine). This year, we are also planting vineyards in Escaroupim, Tejo with the following grape varieties: Alicante Branco, Fernão-Pires, Trincadeira das Pratas, and Bastardo. With the aim of creating another concept.
