Deep Ruby color. Aroma to black fruits Sour cherries and black plums, with slight toasting. In the mouth, it is structured, very balanced and with good acidity, firm tannins. Good ageing capacity.
Manual harvest, total destemming, pre-fermentative cold maceration for 2 days followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature. Ageing in French oak barrels for 10 months.
Contains sulphites.

More recently, along the banks of the majestic Guadiana River, Herdade da Lagoa do Ruivo was established, from where our fantastic Algarvians were born.
