Mechanical night harvesting. Vinification of the best batches of grapes, variety by variety. The Aragonês is fermented in “vinimatics”, while the remaining varieties ferment in mechanical treading tanks, at a temperature of 22º to 24ºC. Aging for 10 Months in new French oak barrels.

Ervideira
The estates of Monte da Ribeira and Herdadinha both belong to the Leal da Costa family, direct descendants of the Count of Ervideira, a successful farmer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. With 160 hectares divided between two estates, one in Vidigueira (110 ha) and the other in Reguengos de Monsaraz (50 ha), Ervideira´s company is run by Maria Isabel Leal da Costa, the family’s matriarch, together with the support of her six children, including Duarte Leal da Costa, the executive director. Nelson Rolo is the head winemaker.
