The harvests finished in the last fortnight of October and, thanks to good weather conditions, the grapes reached a good maturity, healthy, with an average alcohol content of 14.5°.
Ageing: Part of the blend (approx. 50%) was aged in second and third year French and American oak barrels.

“Quinta do Vale da Perdiz – Sociedade Agrícola, Lda.” is a family owned company focused on producing high quality wines at atractive prices.
The company founder – António Fernandes – has been producing port and table wines for two decades. The company wines are made under the technical direction of chief winemaker Manuel Angel Areal with grapes harvested in the Douro Superior region, mostly from family owned vineyards. The total area of the family vines adds up to 50 hectares.
