Château Pontet-Canet is a 5th cru classé produced in the Pauillac appellation. This red wine is made from vines that are on average 40 to 45 years old, planted over a total area of 81 hectares. The vineyard is planted on a terroir composed of quaternary gravel. The wine is matured for 16 months in oak barrels (60% of which are new).
