Cem Reis

Cem Reis Reserva is one of the Alentejo’s foremost references. Produced from a selection of the best lots of Syrah from the year, it comprises a final blend that ages in French oak barrels (50%) and American oak barrels (50%).

Prioritizing quality, all the grapes are hand-harvested during the night and placed in small 20 kg boxes. Subsequently, they are carefully transported to the winery, where the winemaking team works to transform them into a rounded wine with a firm and persistent structure.

Vinification: Highly selective manual night harvest. Natural and spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentations. “Cuvaison” for over 20 days.

Aging: Aging for 16 months in new oak barrels. 50% in fine-grain French oak with medium toasting, and 50% in medium-grain American oak with medium toasting.
