Caves Santa Marta is a wine cooperative founded in 1959, created to help farmers in the Douro region produce and sell wine.

The members of the cooperative are vineyard owners who deliver the grapes to the cooperative, which produces wine and markets the product.

In addition to a strong focus on the domestic market, it now exports to Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Andorra, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Japan, China, Angola, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Italy.

Caves Santa Marta produces more than 6 million liters of wine, about one-tenth of the total production of the Douro Demarcated Region, divided into the categories of Port, Douro, Regional, Sparkling, and Brandy.
