Carlos Reynolds

Carlos Reynolds, grandson of Gloria Reynolds, son of Julian, is the seventh generation of the Reynolds family in Portugal to produce quality wines in Alentejo. This is a wine released younger than usual from the estate and represents the entry-level offering from the producer.

Viticulture: The main focus is on grape quality. Integrated production with several selective thinning processes to reduce the yield to 4,000kg/ha. Night harvest and separate sorting by grape variety.

Winemaking: Fermentation of clean berries, separated by grape variety and without crushing, in French oak Seguin Moreau vats with controlled temperature, for 12 months. Minimal use of sulfites. Blending of the varieties, bottling, and bottle aging for 1 year at the estate.
