O Produtor, tasting note published in August 20th 2020
Clear and bright in appearance, it presents a beautiful energetic violet hue, extraordinarily penetrating and appealing. On the nose it offers a tasty combination of strawberry and cherry aromas and a
vanilla nuance. On the palate the wine appears very smooth and attractive, revealing red fruit flavours balanced with a refreshing and balanced acidity combined with an elegant honeyed sweetness.
honeyed sweetness. Long and persistent aromatic finish.
The reflection of the sun on the sea, the smell of wet sand and the sea breeze that runs through the vineyard served as inspiration for the creation of this wine.
Its elegance and complexity, its mouthfeel, soft and fresh, are a unique way of expressing the vineyard. It balances in a fresh wine, of great elegance, showing an open colour, and an enormous aromatic complexity.
In the mouth it is long, with very velvety tannins contributing to a very structured wine, with mineral notes, in a very long and rich set of great intensity and persistence. The wine was made with grapes harvested and selected by hand, going immediately to the winery where they were gently pressed in order to preserve all the varietal aromas. The alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel vats with a controlled temperature between 24ºC and 26ºC, in order to safeguard all the elegance and aromatic characteristics. 10 months in French oak barrels of second use.
Aged in bottle for 12 months.

Quinta Brejinho da Costa
From Portugal, by the sea, an immense frontier emerges, a platform for wonder and discovery: the old Ocean Sea. From here half a world and almost as much, where men and ships were daring protagonists of adventures, challenging myths, writing heroic stories that still inspire us today. The Atlantic Ocean continues to be mysterious and transformative, and exceptional in the way we make wines in a geographical region that is unique in the world. Just as there are wines from valleys and volcanic areas, only Quinta do Brejinho can claim to be the creator of Atlantic wines.
