O Produtor, tasting note published in May 12th 2022
It has a clear, luminous appearance with a beautiful, energetic violet hue that is extraordinarily penetrating and attractive.
The nose offers a tasty combination of strawberry and cherry aromas and a slight hint of vanilla.
On the palate, the wine appears very soft and attractive, revealing red fruit flavours balanced by a refreshing and balanced acidity, combined with an elegant honeyed sweetness. Long and persistent aromatic finish.
These wines are the expression of grape varieties with unique characteristics, well adapted to their place of origin. The combination of natural factors – such as geology, topology and climate – is complemented by the interpretation and art of our winemaker. Wine produced with hand-picked and selected grapes, going immediately to the cellar where they were gently pressed to preserve all the varietal aromas.
Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks with a controlled temperature between 26ºC and 28ºC, in order to preserve all the elegance and aromatic characteristics.
Long pre- and post-fermentation macerations are carried out on these grapes. Matured for 18 months in French oak barrels.

Quinta Brejinho da Costa
From Portugal, by the sea, an immense frontier emerges, a platform for wonder and discovery: the old Ocean Sea. From here half a world and almost as much, where men and ships were daring protagonists of adventures, challenging myths, writing heroic stories that still inspire us today. The Atlantic Ocean continues to be mysterious and transformative, and exceptional in the way we make wines in a geographical region that is unique in the world. Just as there are wines from valleys and volcanic areas, only Quinta do Brejinho can claim to be the creator of Atlantic wines.
