Bella Élégance
Bella Élégance is born at Quinta de Bella, which combines unique natural conditions with traditional sustainable viticulture to produce Terroir wines with a distinctive character.
Located in the historic Dão region, in the village of Prime, parish of Fragosela, neighboring the city of Viseu, it is an extensive property of approximately 70 hectares that stretches along the banks of the Dão River.
Situated at about 380 meters above sea level, with unique microclimatic conditions, the estate benefits from the proximity of the Dão River, excellent exposure, and high-quality granitic sandy soils, also known as “rotten granite” or “noble granite.”
With a narrow planting spacing, traditional sustainable viticulture is practiced, minimizing the use of herbicides, inspired by the ancient French technique from Bordeaux and Burgundy known as “Les Quatre Façons.” This human intervention respects and enhances the natural richness of the Terroir, maximizing the expression of its character in the production of exceptional wines.
