Quinta das Bageiras
The grapes of this wine come from a set of plots that, due to their characteristics (soils, sun exposure, etc.) give rise to elegant and fresh reds. The grapes of both grape varieties fermented without destemming for about a week in an open lagar. During this time, the grapes were panned with wooden masses, several times a day, until the wine reached the desired intensity. Finally, the wine finished fermentation in used Burgundy (French oak) barrels where it aged. It then moved to a small wooden barrel where it remained until bottling, without any gluing or filtering.
