A very special and limited edition, released only every 10 years, which brings together in a single wine the best harvests of the previous decade from the finest vineyards of the Alves de Sousa family.
With this Memórias (Memories), we celebrate the history of 30 harvests of the Alves de Sousa family in the Douro.
“The completion of 30 years dedicated to Douro wines (1992-2022) led us to want to leave a record, a testimony of our history. And the best way we know… is in the form of a wine. A wine that transports us not only through the family vineyards but also through the years gone by. To do this, we combined our best vineyards (Gaivosa, Abandonado, Lordelo, Vale da Raposa, Caldas and Oliveirinha), as well as some of the best harvests.
This is the wine that tells our story. These are our memories.”
Year: Blend of the best harvests of the 2010s decade (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019).
Vineyards: Gaivosa, Abandonado, Lordelo, Vale da Raposa, Caldas, and Oliveirinha.
Age of the vines: Between 60 and 100 years.
