Opaque violet color very concentrated. Fresh and intense aroma of black fruit (blackberries) and a slight floral reminiscent of Touriga Nacional. In the mouth it is robust, with much elegance and structure.
In an exceptional year, such as 2014, Quinta do Sagrado presents its Vintage 2011, produced from a large number of grape varieties on the estate with grapes trodden on foot in granite mills. 2700 bottles were bottled. Great ageing potential.

The vineyards planted in 14 plots separated by grape varieties, in addition to its privileged situation, bathed by the river and impacted by all the Douro’s diversity, give the Quinta an unrivalled production of quality and a very high reputation. Quinta do Sagrado is a remarkable estate, born out of tradition, cultivated from a passion for Port Wine and created to produce special, premium wines of the finest selection that the Douro can offer the world. The wines are produced in the traditional way, through the picking and selection of grapes by hand, foot treading in granite lagares and winemaking in small batches. This process gives Quinta do Sagrado wines a long ageing potential.
