O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2019
A straight wine in colour, with vivid violet tones. On the nose it has wild aromas that evoke the Mediterranean woods of the estate, with notes of rosemary, rosemary and rockrose, deepened by ripe black fruits. It is a wine with very good acidity and fine tannins, but with great presence and a vibrant finish, which makes it so ready and admirable.
Grapes hand-picked in September, with a very rigorous selection. After the manual harvest, the grapes are carefully inspected and de-stemmed. An intense maceration was then carried out in the first 48 hours to extract all the good components from the skins, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This process was interrupted by the addition of brandy at exactly the right moment, followed by an ageing process in conditions of minimal oxidation. 2 years of ageing in stainless steel and wood.
