O Produtor, tasting note published in May 25th 2020
It is an elegant wine, with expressive character. On the nose, the notes of blackberry and spices are evident. In the mouth, the black fruit is praised for its smooth and enveloping texture and a sensation of freshness, persisting for a long time after tasting.
This LBV was produced with well ripened and balanced grapes, harvested by hand during the month of September, with a very careful selection. After manual harvesting, the grapes were carefully inspected and destemmed.
Then an intense maceration is carried out in the first 48 hours to extract all the good components from the films, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature control. Fermentation was interrupted at a certain time by the addition of brandy. Five years in stainless steel and passage through wood.
