O Produtor, tasting note published in May 28th 2019

Brilliant amber colour. Nose complex of dried fruits, with hints of dried figs, nuts, almonds and hazelnuts. A harmonious ensemble, marked by delicate notes of honey and a subtle touch of toasted peanuts. Rich and satiny on the palate, it reveals an excellent structure and remarkable unctuosity. A powerful wine but balanced and elegant at the same time. End of singular persistence.

Kopke

Harvesting takes place and the high quality grapes have spent at least 7 years in French oak barrels of about 550 litres. Colheita Port represents less than 1% of total annual production. Like Vintage, a Colheita Port is only released when the best conditions are met and after approval by IDVP (Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto).
