O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2019

Dalva Vintage 2004 is a Vintage rich in colour and tannins revealing its best in fantastic persistence and aromas of ripe fruit. It has an enormous aromatic and ageing potential, with floral and wild fruit notes. Exceptional body and smooth tannin structure give it a long and exuberant taste.

Vintages have an initial stage of two and a half years before bottling, and generally require a minimum of three to four years in bottle to serve and another ten to thirty years on average before reaching what is considered a suitable age for assessing evolution and complexity.
As they age, the bouquet becomes more balanced, complex and very distinctive, with a rainbow of flavours such as jam, chocolate, cinnamon, cocoa, coffee.
During bottle ageing, you should always lie down, avoiding oxygen and temperature changes.
