O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2019

Rich in colour and tannins, showing the best of the incredible persistence and aromas of ripe fruit. It shows an enormous aging and aromatic potential, with floral and red fruit notes. Exceptional body and silky structure of tannins, leading to a long and exuberant flavour.

Dalva

It accounts for two per cent of total port production in a year, only top quality grapes are used (A and B). With excellent organoleptic characteristics, they should be very full bodied and of deep colour. Old ports are aged for a maximum of two and a half years before bottling and generally require a minimum period of three to four years before they are served and others an average of ten to thirty years of bottle ageing before reaching what is considered adequate consumption.
