O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2019

Intense aroma and flavour: fruit jam, quince jam, spices, in the youngest wines. With age, the wine develops other flavours: nuts, cinnamon, coffee, but always fresh and elegant.

Dalva

Port of a single harvest of the year. Instead of indicating age as a mixed tawny (10, 20, 30, 40 …), the year is always mentioned on the label. However, they should not be confused with Vintage Port. Since the “Colheita” must age for at least seven years in oak barrels (but of course the complexity, aroma and refined flavours could not reach the heights of an old “Colheita”, such as a rare 1952 “Colheita” Golden White bottled in 2009 … 57 years in French oak tubes).
