O Produtor, tasting note published in August 27th 2022

Moscatel de Setúbal 1961
Color - Topaz. Aroma - Very intense and penetrating, incense, exotic woods. Taste - Very fresh, spicy mouth, surprising for a wine of this age.

Moscatel de Setúbal 1962
Color - Topaz. Aroma - Notes of coffee, hazelnut, dried fruits, crystallized orange peel and touch of cedar resin. Taste - Mouth with a very firm presence, fresh that insists on staying beyond the expected and that translates the enormity of this wine.

Garrafeira Benfica

60 years after the two most remarkable international conquests in the Sport Lisboa e Benfica’s record, Garrafeira Benfica launches the Moscatel from José Maria da Fonseca, from the years of victories, 1961 and 1962, to celebrate the six decades of the club’s European bicampeonato, at the emblematic price of 6162 euros. Stylist Nuno Gama was responsible for the label design as well as the special packaging that preserves the wine, adding a touch of class to the case that is now hitting the market, with the advice of Martins Wine Advisor, Vinha.pt, and the renowned winery from Setúbal.
