Casa Amarás
Mezcal Amarás Cupreata is an exotic elixir, produced in the deciduous forests of Guerrero, under a rich and complex atmosphere. The Cupreata agave, which grows at an altitude between 1,000 and 1,500 meters above sea level, develops over 13 years in a humid subtropical climate. This agave belongs to an exclusive group that does not produce offshoots, being cultivated solely from seeds. Therefore, it is essential to protect the strongest and healthiest mother plants, allowing them to reproduce naturally in their own time and space.
Amarás Cupreata is the link connecting the vast range of flavors and aromas that the biodiversity of agaves can offer. It is a true journey into a universe of complex flavors, derived from the richness of various wild agave species.
Considered the opposite of the Espadín agave, Amarás Cupreata conveys its rich characteristics and reveals surprising herbal notes, taking us on a sensory journey through the forests of Guerrero.
It is perfect for sipping neat or in cocktails like Cupreatini, Cupreata Twist, or Remedy de la Abuela.
