Dolin

Génépi Dolin is the original version of the famous mountain liqueur, associated with high peaks, ski trips, and the terroir of Savoie.

Directly from the French Alps, it holds a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) ensuring the authenticity of its production, from the harvesting of the Génépi sprigs – the small yellow flowers nestled in the wild and steep landscapes of Savoie – at 2000 meters altitude, far from any source of pollution, to the methods of maceration and distillation in the still, following a historic recipe from 1850.

This gives Génépi Dolin a unique flavor and unparalleled quality, ensuring its prestigious position among traditional mountain liqueurs.

With a powerful flavor, simultaneously fresh and slightly sweet, it makes an excellent conclusion to a good meal but can also be an ingredient for original cocktails, adding herbaceous notes that will result in memorable blends.

To enjoy authentic Génépi, remember: it’s best savored with friends or family after a great day of skiing, around an old table near the fireplace. But it also works very well in the summer after a hike, climb, or other outdoor activity in the mountains, with a single key message – enjoy life, the mountains, and the great things they have to offer!

Dolin

Only two families have been at the helm of the Dolin company in 200 years: the Chavasse/Dolin family and the Sevez family, both deeply involved in local life in Chambéry and faithful to their traditions.

Since its creation, the Dolin company has sought inspiration from the Alps, sourcing its ingredients from the generosity provided by the surrounding mountains to create original recipes that remain a secret to this day.

Faithful to tradition, the distillery has preserved its age-old production methods and love for the terroir. Today, these elements contribute to making its products the instinctive choice for those who appreciate authentic flavors and a genuine historical provenance…

The history of the company is closely tied to the Savoie region, and particularly to that of Chambéry. The distillery has been a witness to major events in history, such as the return of the Duchy of Savoy to France, the Great War, and the bombing of Chambéry in 1944. Neither the Dolin family nor the Sevez family have ever considered leaving Chambéry, such is their attachment to the town and the Savoie region and their Alpine heritage.

“We owe a large part of our success to Savoyard plants, the fresh mountain air, and the vertiginous landscapes that inspire us every day… that’s why we make all our products here, in Chambéry, as we always have done, and that’s not about to change…”

Ever since Marie Dolin picked up a gold medal at the World Fair in Philadelphia in 1876, Dolin has preserved a spirit of openness and adventure that allows it to promote the savoir-faire of the Savoyard master liquor-makers around the world, today more than ever. Available in the world’s most prestigious hotels and bars, Dolin’s products, are synonymous with French quality, finesse, and aromas.
