Nose: Excellent aromatic exuberance, intense notes of fruit: tangerine, fig and apricot dehydrated. The orange blossom notes are also very present. Huge aromatic complexity, which translates into a constant discovery.
Mouth: Captivating start, evolving into a wine of excellent structure and lively acidity, in perfect harmony with the complex aromatic notes of mandarin, apricot and fig. Fresh and very persistent finish. A superb, unique wine of elegance and complexity.
The harvest was done berry by berry. Direct pressing in a vertical press, without destemming. Fermentation takes place in a stainless steel vat, transitioning to French oak barrels during the last third of alcoholic fermentation. The wine ages for 24 months in used French oak barrels.
Soil and Topography: Sandy. Charneca. No slope.
Vine Age: Viognier – 15 years; Fernão Pires – 70 years.
Sun Exposure: East – West.
