This limited edition celebrates the most Portuguese pear - Pera Rocha - keeping the base of the Sharish Gin Original. It is made with alcohol, water, juniper, coriander, pera Rocha (PDO), orange peel and Alentejo lemon peel,
thyme, mandarin leaf, pine needles, lavender, elderflower,
clove, iris, geranium, angelica root and laurel seed.

After the success of the 2014 and 2015 Editions we decided to distill a new version of the Gin that celebrates the most Portuguese of Pears – Pera Rocha do Oeste DOP.

In this Limited Edition were used as botanicals:

Juniper, coriander seed, rocha pear, orange, tangerine and Alentejo lemon peel, lemon balm, mandarin leaf, lavender, elderflower, clove, Germanic iris, liquorice, angelica root, laurel seed and Alentejo almond.

From the 2021 harvest, 9999 bottles were produced.

During a period of unemployment and thanks to an incredible capacity for entrepreneurship, António Cuco went from simply enjoying gin to a true “alchemist of flavours”, being able to create an emblematic and internationally recognised brand.
As inspiration, António Cuco retrieved the smells and flavours of his childhood, such as the Bravo de Esmolfe apple, which his great-grandmother used to give him to eat at the Borba market, and the lúcia-lima, an aroma that reminded him of the tea his grandmother used to prepare at snack time in S. Manços. To these memories she added botanicals, citrus fruits and other ingredients, all from her homeland, to arrive at the final formula of her Gin Sharish
