Concentrated ruby colour with violet hues. Intense and complex aroma predominates red fruits, where ripe cherry, red fruit jelly and very ripe woodland fruits stand out. Intense and complex, it has an extraordinary volume in the mouth. Vivid, fresh and smooth, it has a persistent finish.
Produced from Baga, Touriga Nacionaland tinta Roriz had total destemming, alcoholic fermentation at 22ºC. Fermentation was interrupted by the addition of grape brandy. It was permanently aged in stainless steel vats, followed by partial bottling in order to slow down its evolution.

Founded in 1954 by a group of 100 winegrowers, Adega de Cantanhede today has 500 active winegrowers and an annual production of 6 to 7 million kilos of grapes. It is the main producer in the Bairrada Demarcated Region, representing about 40% of the region’s overall production. Today it certifies around 80% of its production, being the leader in sales of Bairrada DOC and Beira Atlântico IGP wines.
