O Produtor, tasting note published in May 3rd 2017
Bright pink in colour, this wine reveals aromas of redcurrants, blueberries, mint and finishes with a hint of hazelnuts. On the palate, it has very good acidity, is intense, extremely full-bodied and very smooth. As this is a new wine, it should be drunk chilled.
Using the knowledge acquired in the production of LoboDoce, we have produced LoboPink. To date, this is the first fortified rosé wine on the market. To make this wine, colour was the key factor, so we studied several of the grape varieties we own until we found the one that retains the desired level of colour for the longest time: Cabernet Sauvignon.
