O Produtor, tasting note published in October 21st 2019

Pink salmon colour, medium persistent bubble. Attractive nose of ripe red fruits such as redcurrant and strawberry complemented by delicate floral aromas of clove and honeysuckle, fresh mint and light smoky notes. In the mouth it reveals light and complex fruit flavours and a pleasant lemon aftertaste. Voluminous and round with the explosion of the bubble making it long and persistent.

Vineyard located at an altitude of 700 m on a gentle slope facing south-east. Soil derived from a metamorphic series of schist with quartz outcrops. Sandy-sandy texture with some stoniness. The grapes, harvested in 20kg crates, were gently crushed, without destemming, in a pneumatic press, and the must was immediately pumped into stainless steel fermentation tanks, where the base wine fermentation took place. The wine was then bottled and placed in a cool cellar for the second fermentation according to the classic method, being after the bottle ageing the “ice disgorgement”. Aged in stainless steel tanks for approximately 1.5 years Aged in bottle on lees for 17 months Bottling date: 12 May 2018 Disgorgement date: 21 October 2019.
