Grape varieties
Viognier

French white grape variety originally from the Rhône region.

Produces wines with light clear golden color, with scents of flowers (acacia, violet and honey), spices and fruits, mainly peach and apricot. It has low acidity and high alcohol content. It is sometimes used to soften and perfume red wines from Syrah. Should be used in blends with more acid and less aromatic grapes.
