Grape varieties
Folgasão

A Portuguese grape variety, traditionally cultivated in the Dão region, in the center of Portugal. This grape is known for producing wines with good acidity, freshness, and aging potential. Folgazão wines can be aromatic, with notes of fruit and flowers, and they usually have a good structure, making them quite versatile for pairing with different dishes. Although not widely known outside of Portugal, it is especially appreciated in fresher, more balanced wines.

Folgasão is also known as Terrantez da Madeira.
