2016 it’s over and it’s time to discover which Portuguese wines were selected by the magazines Wine Enthusiast  and Wine Spectator as their Top 100.

Throughout the year, both magazines have tasted many wines and the portuguese ones have been well distinguished. The Wine Enthusiast magazine awarded 6 wines: a port, a Douro, a green wine, two Alentejo wines and one from Lisbon. The Wine Spectator magazine has awarded 4 wines in which region the Douro is the most prominent.

Of the wines on the list, we highlight the following.

Awarded by Wine Spectator magazine:

Red Wine Evel Douro

Red Wine Carm Reserva Douro

Red Wine Cabriz CS Dão

Awarded by Wine Enthusiast magazine:

Vinho Verde Portal do Fidalgo Alvarinho

Red Wine Meandro Vale Meão
