After VinhaChallenge, VINHA continues promoting learning to all winelovers. This time, we are organizing a learning moment dedicated to beginners in the world of wine and wants to impress in their next dinner with friends.
What is “Primeira VINHA”?
It is a formative moment organized by VINHA dedicated to all who love wine and want to learn basic notions about it.
On Primeira VINHA, we pretend to teach the main wine regions in Portugal, the mais grapes, and let participants understand what is behind a wine and the most correct way to taste it.
How is it going to work?
More than just a formative moment, Primeira VINHA is going to be a sharing and relaxed moment open to all winelovers.
First, participants will learn about the main regions, grapes and characteristics of Portuguese wines.
After that, they will learn how to taste a wine in an adequate way, “like a pro”. Our wine specialist João Guedes will teach the techniques and charm so that all can learn how to taste correctly and make a good impression.
Finally, participants will have the oportunity to taste 6 of the best Portuguese wines, from different regions and types, in order to aplly the concepts learnt before in the course.
In the end, it will be 3 hours of learning and fun, in a very informal environment.
This is also a great gift to offer to a girlfriend/boyfriend or even to your dad, since it is happening on Father’s Day.
When is it and how can I enroll?
Primeira Vinha is happening on March 19th, at Hotel Carris Porto Ribeira at 4 p.m., in Oporto.
It is very simple to enroll:

You will receive a confirmation e-mail, which you are supposed to show at the event.
What is the cost?
The total cost is 25 euros and it includes:
- Primeira VINHA certification;
- Access to all documents used during the presentation
