During the 11th edition of the Crédito Agrícola Wine Competition, organized by the Bank in partnership with the Portuguese Sommelier Association, 269 wines – whites, reds, and sparkling wines – were evaluated. Representing the rich tradition and diversity of Portuguese wines, these entries came from 113 national producers across the country’s main wine regions.

The jury, composed of sommeliers, winemakers, wine enthusiasts, and specialized journalists, conducted blind tastings in October 2024. Wines from emblematic regions such as Vinho Verde, Douro, Dão, Beira Interior, Bairrada, Tejo, Lisbon, Península de Setúbal, Alentejo, Algarve, and Azores stood out. The result? A selection of exceptional wines waiting to be discovered.
