Founded 190 years ago, the house of Champagne Boizel creates wines of the highest quality that reflect the best of the Champagne region and are the best way to toast with elegance to the arrival of summer.

It was in 1834 that Auguste Boizel and Julie Martin, a young couple, joined forces to create their own Champagne House. Originally pastry chefs, born and raised in the Côte des Blancs, they shared the same entrepreneurial spirit. Julie’s ancestors were winegrowers in Ay and Mareuil-sur-Ay, and her dowry included a leasehold in Mareuil-sur-Ay. They chose Épernay as the home for their new business and lent their names to the House: ‘Boizel-Martin’.

Since its creation, the house of Champagne Boizel has produced seductive wines with a delicate effervescence that reflect the incredible diversity of the Champagne terroir, combining artisanal craftsmanship with a constant pursuit of excellence and progress.

In all the champagnes it creates, the Boizel family offers a strong set of values: high standards, generosity, loyalty, and a taste for freedom.

High standards in the vineyards and at every stage of the winemaking process. Generosity, in the way Champagne Boizel seeks to share this authentic and living product with others and opens its doors to visitors so they can experience the art de vivre of champagne. Loyalty, to its region, its family history, and also to its partners, customers, and wine lovers around the world. Finally, the freedom to choose its own path to create sincere and authentic wines.

This philosophy has been passed down from generation to generation and shared by the men and women who have made Champagne Boizel what it is today. It is no coincidence that the Champagne House has always been led by two, instead of just one, pair of hands. That women have always played a role equal to men. And that each generation has succeeded in creating wines of incomparable quality.

Passion, dedication, sense of duty, desire for excellence, and independent thinking have formed an unbreakable bond throughout the history of Champagne Boizel and continue to do so today, under the leadership of Florent and Lionel Roques-Boizel.

Alone, as an aperitif, or accompanying fish and seafood dishes, Boizel champagnes are fresh, exquisite, harmonious, ideal for toasting with elegance to the arrival of summer.
