Certainly you’ve already drunk Sangria. It’s also certain you enjoy drink it surrounded by a relaxed atmosphere, in a hot day and with great company. So, one of these weekends take the chance to enjoy this amazing cocktail.

Any Sangria has fruit, mint, cinnamon and alcoholic drinks – these are the elementary ingredients. Yet, there are many types of fruit as well of alcoholic drinks. Thus, Sangria can be highly customizable!

First step is to mix in an appropriated recipient 2 or 3 sprigs of mint, 2 or 3 cinnamon sticks, 4 or 5 lemon slices and about 7 tablespoon of brown sugar.

Then, choose the fruis you want to add, not forgetting that they will define Sangria flavors. We suggest you some fruits that pairs with this Cocktail. Choose the ones you like based on what kind of Sangria you want to do, white or red. For red Sangria more common fruits are: oranges, apples, pears, kiwis, peaches, …; if you choose white Sangria, opt for red fruits (like strawberries, blackberries, gooseberries, blueberries, …), peaches, kiwi, …
Bigger fruits must be sliced in small pieces.

Independently of what kind of Sangria you will do, choose one of the following alcoholic drinks to mix: vodka, brandy or Port. Add about 60 ml of it.

Now, if you chose to do red Sangria add a bottle of red wine; if you preferred white Sangria, add a bottle of white wine.

Finally, add 300 ml of any kind of lemon or lime fizzy juice and the same quantity for orange juice – fizzy or not – both well-chilled.

To refresh your Sangria, add some ice. Now you just have to serve it, ideally in balloon glasses.
With only a recipe you can invent quite a few kinds of Sangria. Try different combinations and enjoy!

Cheers!
